Worker Power

We all deserve a safe jobs, living wages, and time to spend with our loved ones. But far too many of us still live paycheck to paycheck. Greedy corporations corporations try to divide us, hoping we’ll turn against each other instead of standing up to the rigged system that lets them profit off our labor while we struggle to get by. When we join together in unions and put power in workers’ hands, every one of us can care for our families, earn a fair wage for our work, make our voices heard, and ensure our rights are respected.

From the decades of attacks on collective bargaining that have driven down wages and worsened working conditions, to the rise of the gig economy and AI-powered “bossware,” it’s clear: we must strengthen workers’ rights in every part of our economy.

Through our convenings, policy work, and coalition-building, the CPC Center works to build a future where all workers have access to a union, a living wage, and safety and dignity on the job.

In partnership with the Economic Policy Institute (EPI), we facilitate the Convening for a Pro-Worker Future so that unions, policy experts, progressive groups and other worker advocates can share information, explore new strategies, and build solidarity.
