Announcing Gohar Sedighi as Executive Director of CPC Center and Progressive Caucus Action Fund

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) Center and Progressive Caucus Action Fund announced today that Gohar Sedighi has joined the organizations as executive director. Gohar brings a wealth of experience, having held leadership roles in the executive and legislative branches, as well as in nonprofit management.

“I am beyond thrilled to lead the CPC Center and Progressive Caucus Action Fund at this critical moment. The CPC Center’s legislative analysis and other public education materials are informing key policy debates. The Progressive Caucus Action Fund has shown success in bringing together movement leaders to build more effective people’s movements for justice and fairness. I have spent the last fifteen years fighting for economic, gender, and racial equity, and I’m excited to continue this work as the next leader of the CPC Center and the Progressive Caucus Action Fund. My commitment to the missions of these organizations is rooted in my own experience as an immigrant to the United States and first-generation college graduate. I’m honored to lead the CPC Center and the Progressive Caucus Action Fund teams in this next chapter,” said Gohar Sedighi.
